The Distant Enemy

In part three of Ghost Wars...

Unfortunately, my prosaic review of Part three was eaten by the proverbial 'electronic dog'. As I attempt to recover the post, know that part three of Steve Coll's Ghost Wars was an excellent description of post-Soviet covert operations in Afghanistan. That about sums it up. Read the first and second review if you must know.

Next review will be Crossing the Rubicon." Michael Ruppert went a bit long on this puppy, and I don't think Dick Cheney liked it very much.
